Countertop Materials We Install in Fort Lauderdale

Choosing the right countertop material is one of the most impactful decisions in any kitchen remodel. Fort Lauderdale's warm, humid climate means your countertops need to handle moisture, heat, and heavy daily use. We carry and install every major surface category so you can compare materials side-by-side at our Fort Lauderdale showroom before committing.

Quartz is our most-installed material — engineered for zero maintenance, consistent color patterns, and long-term durability. Granite remains the gold standard for natural stone beauty with each slab unique. Marble is unmatched for luxury aesthetics in high-end Coral Ridge and Las Olas kitchens. Quartzite delivers natural stone character with greater hardness than marble.

  • Quartz countertops — no sealing, stain-proof, 100+ colors
  • Granite countertops — unique slabs, heat-resistant, natural beauty
  • Marble countertops — classic luxury, ideal for baking stations
  • Quartzite — harder than marble, natural movement patterns
  • Porcelain slab — ultra-thin, outdoor-rated, UV stable
  • Butcher block — warm wood texture for kitchen islands

Common Questions

Countertop FAQ

How much do kitchen countertops cost in Fort Lauderdale?
Kitchen countertop costs in Fort Lauderdale range from $45–$200+ per square foot installed. Laminate runs $20–$45/sqft. Granite costs $55–$120/sqft. Quartz costs $65–$150/sqft. Marble and quartzite run $100–$250/sqft. Most Fort Lauderdale kitchens need 30–45 sqft of countertop, putting total project cost between $1,500 and $9,000 for mid-range materials.
What is the most popular countertop material in Fort Lauderdale?
Quartz is the most popular countertop material in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. It requires no sealing, resists heat and moisture in our humid climate, and comes in hundreds of colors. Granite remains popular in traditional and transitional kitchens, especially in Plantation and Weston. White marble is a top choice for luxury Las Olas renovations.
How long does countertop installation take?
Countertop installation takes 1–2 days for the actual installation. The process includes: in-home measurement (1 hour), template creation and slab fabrication (7–14 days), and installation day (4–8 hours). Plumbing reconnection for sink is included. You can use your kitchen normally within 24 hours.
Do I need to seal my countertops?
Quartz, porcelain, and quartzite engineered surfaces never need sealing. Natural granite requires sealing every 1–3 years depending on use. Natural marble requires sealing every 6–12 months and is more susceptible to staining. We apply an initial sealer on all natural stone at installation.
Can you replace just the countertops without replacing cabinets?
Absolutely — countertop-only replacements are one of our most common projects. We remove the existing countertop, make any needed adjustments to cabinet tops, template and fabricate the new slab, and install. The project typically takes 2 weeks total from first visit to installation day.
Do you install undermount sinks with new countertops?
Yes. We handle the full sink cutout, undermount sink installation, and plumbing reconnection. We work with your existing sink or coordinate supply of a new undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse sink. Plumbing reconnection is included in our countertop installation price.
What countertop edges are available?
We offer eased, beveled, bullnose, ogee, waterfall, dupont, and mitered edge profiles. Eased edge is included at no extra charge. Decorative profiles like ogee or dupont add $15–$25 per linear foot. Waterfall edges (where the slab continues down the cabinet side) are a popular upgrade in modern kitchens.
